Hamidullah Wardak

With over 12 years of strategic communication and development outreach experience, Mr. Wardak has led initiatives for USAID, the United Nations, UKAID, DFID, DANIDA, GIZ, and the World Bank. His work has empowered organizations to maintain impactful partnerships with beneficiaries and customers, and clearly convey their visions, accomplishments, and the significant impact they have on their customers, stakeholders, and the broader audience.

Abdul Wares Nayel

Wares Nayel is a highly accomplished communications expert with over eight years of experience in strategic communications, particularly for USAID-funded programs. He has a proven track record in strategic planning, messaging, content development, knowledge management, donor communications, and storytelling. Wares excels in amplifying and positioning efforts through event planning, management, creating visually compelling content, branding, and marking. His career spans roles where he has demonstrated expertise in leading communications strategies, managing knowledge-sharing platforms, and delivering impactful content that resonates with diverse audiences. In his current role as a Program Communications Advisor for the USAID-funded Inclusive Resilience in Somalia project with DT Global, Wares established a Strategic Communications Unit and developed comprehensive communication strategies to enhance project visibility and alignment among partners. Wares also has a strong background in event management and digital media. He has successfully managed events and crafted engaging digital content to expand organizational reach and visibility. His experience includes working on USAID-funded projects such as the Afghan Urban Water and Sanitation (AUWS) program and the Initiative to Strengthen Local Administrations (ISLA), where he played pivotal roles in institutional strengthening, capacity building, and knowledge management. Wares holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Kardan University, specializing in peace-building, conflict resolution, and international development. He also has a BA in Fine Arts from Kabul University, with a focus on cinema, theater, and documentary film production. His skills span a wide range of areas including strategic communications, data collection, event management, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and multilingual fluency in Farsi and Pashto.

Frozan Rajabi

Frozen Rajabi is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Financial Officer at Arthritis Research Canada. In this role, Frozen manages full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, audits, and budgeting, ensuring compliance and efficiency in financial operations for the organization. With a strong background in nonprofit finance, Frozen specializes in federal funding, grants management, and regulatory compliance. Before joining Arthritis Research Canada, Frozen worked as a Financial Coordinator, where they developed skills in investments, month-end close processes, and financial analysis. Additionally, Frozen spent over four years as an HR & Finance Officer at the Open Society Foundations, overseeing cash flow management, strategic financial planning, and HR-related financial operations. Frozen has held senior finance positions, including Chief Financial Officer at Hand in Hand Afghanistan and the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies. In these roles, Frozen led financial planning, forecasting, and budget control for nonprofit initiatives, demonstrating expertise in GAAP and financial strategy. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Office 365, Frozen effectively manages financial statements, bank reconciliations, and payroll administration. Hematullah Niazmand

Hematullah Niazmand is a seasoned media professional and project manager with extensive experience in journalism, public awareness, and media monitoring. With a strong background in managing international relations and communications, Hematullah has a proven track record in overseeing media projects and survey activities. He holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Kabul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Pashto Language Literature from the same institution. Hematullah’s educational background is complemented by an A+ IT Administrator certificate, which enhances his ability to integrate technology in media monitoring and project management. Hematullah has held significant roles such as Foreign Desk Correspondent and Text Editor/Reporter at Ariana News, where he was responsible for researching, reporting, and editing news for Dari and Pashto bulletins. As the International Relations and Communication Director at the National Radio and Television of Afghanistan (RTA), he coordinated collaborations with international media, embassies, and organizations, enhancing RTA’s global partnerships. He also served as Senior Media/Communication Project Manager at ACSOR, where he led various media projects, developed content strategies, and analyzed media broadcasts. Additionally, he has experience as a TV News Anchor at RTA and Saba TV, and as a TV Producer and Presenter at Ariana Radio and Television Network, where he created and presented engaging programs. Hematullah’s diverse skill set, including media production, project management, and strategic communication, combined with his multilingual capabilities in Pashto, Dari, and English, make him a valuable asset in the field of media and public relations.

Baktash Qaisari is a seasoned graphic designer with over fourteen years of creative experience in graphics and advertisements. With a Bachelor’s degree from Bakhtar University, he has worked with more than ten companies, delivering innovative and impactful visual designs. Baktash is recognized for his pioneering volunteer work in graphic design within the community, demonstrating his commitment to leveraging his skills for social impact. A self-taught designer, he brings a unique perspective to his craft, blending technical expertise with creative flair. Fluent in Dari, Pashto, Uzbeki, English, and Urdu, Baktash has the ability to connect with diverse audiences and create culturally resonant designs. His extensive experience and multilingual abilities make him a versatile and valuable asset in the field of graphic design.
